Regarding the last post I made, I wanted to mention briefly that I think malamute made a really good point. I may not particularly like George Bush, and many years from now the historians may even say that he was a poor president, but he's no murderer. No matter how badly he screws up this country, we could be a whole lot worse. I think that's an important perspective to have on things.

Anyway... here's some articles I found over the last few days that I'd like to share!

Girl Takes Donations on Birthday - Zoe Wicks recently turned 7. But rather than ask for birthday presents, she asked for donations of money, toys, and food, which she will give to a local animal shelter. Like, wow. That's pretty amazing, especially for someone her age. I hope her parents are saving up for her college education...

We are ALL related to royalty - This lengthy post on Slashdot talks about how chances are that we all have an ancestor that is royalty. Interesting stuff.

Sorority women told to lie to give blood - From the what-is-your-major-malfunction? department, this article talks about women being told that if they did not give blood, regardless of the circumstances, that they punish people who did not donate. Man, that's screwed up.

Apple opens a store in San Francisco - Get in there, tgeller! :-)

There's an Apple Store in King of Prussia. They're also going to be opening one in Rockville, MD at the Montgomery Mall.
