Weekend stuff
Jun. 16th, 2004 11:22 pm- I hooked up with
thefoxes and
unclekage last weekend. We watched lots of Naruto, drank lots of sake, and ate lots of food laden with SALT and FAT. In other words, it was much fun. :-)
- Somewhere in there, we all did some Anthrocon stuff, too. It's kinda cool that there's less prepwork to do this year then in preceeding years. We're definitely making progress on a year-to-year basis. That's a good thing.
- I watched the sunset funeral service for President Reagan on Friday night. His political and presidential stuff aside, it really broke my heart watching Nancy Reagen rest her head on the coffin towards the end of the service. I'm willing to bet that that picture of her and her kids next to the coffin will be the front cover of next month's Time Magazine.
-
triggur pointed me to The Ronald Reagan Memory Game. Okay, now that's just wrong.
- I played some DDR over the weekend. That wasn't too good for my foot, the muscles of which are still bothering me. I've decided to stop walking to the gym on weeknights and drive straight from work instead. Hopefully that will take some of the stress off it and give it time to heal.
That's all for now. I'm off to bed!

Nancy Reagan supports stem cell research so God Bless her and heck,
God Bless her even if she didn't. She was that man's lifepartner for what?
Half a century? My heart goes out to her.
