gizaWow, what a quick week that was.
Monday greeted me with a pretty nasty headcold. Now, I don't get sick often, and cannot remember the time I last had a headcold. But, there I was all stuffed and sneezing all over the place. It took me until Thursday night to (re)discover what an amazing difference NyQuil and Sudafed can make when dealing with The Common Cold.
Despite being in a fog (moreso than usual, that is), I managed to get some pretty interesting stuff done at work this past week. I really can't talk about it in too much detail here, but it did involve learning how to use a new tool and writing infrastructure for using that tool. Was quite fun.
I finally beat that cold in time for the weekend, and met up with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
dragonf86 and Eternal for some DDR on Saturday evening. It's not like I'm an objective judge, but I think I managed to do a little better at DDR than I did before. i.e. I didn't screw up some of the steps that I blew when playing it in the past. Seeing that my feet held up pretty well, I think I should start trying to do DDR more often.
I've been watching Dead Like Me over the weekend too. I rather like the show with its black humor and some of the themes about fate and pre-destination that are in it. I don't necessarily agree with them, but I think it's good brain food, and that is what's important. (I'm not just pimping it because the actress who plays the main character has the same last name as me, either!
