Saturn of Westbrook Park visit
Jul. 14th, 2005 12:12 pmAs I mentioned in a previous entry, Saturn of Devon is no more. So I had to find a new dealership to get work done on my car, and that dealership ended up being Saturn of Westbrook Park, just on the outskirts of Philly.
When I showed up, it first looked like a really small dealership stuck in the middle of an urban setting. It seemed even moreso when I walked into the tiny and cramped service area. But once I got inside, I found a very comfortable waiting area for the customers. It was carpeted, with several leather chairs and a couch in the corner. There was fresh coffee and in addition to local newspapers, there were copies of National Geographic available. Overhead was incandescent lighting instead of fluorescent lights. It had a nice feel, unlike the "sterile" look at Saturn of Devon.
Oddly enough, I had intended only to get an oil change, but last night my "check engine" light came on. Seems that an oxygen sensor died, so they fixed that during my visit. My cost for that little repair was $0 out of pocket. Yay for warranties.
