Anthrocon Storage Locker Cleanout

Sorry for the short notice ya'all, but some of us will be getting together on this Saturday, August 13th, for cleaning out the Anthrocon Storage Locker. That's where we pull out all of Anthrocon's supplies, repackage them into less space, and finally particpate in the yearly ritual of Putting the Chairman Away:

I was actually going to e-mail someone this fall about this and if you happen to catch this on LJ *shrugs* whatever works. There was rumors at AC that you were going to be doing a convoy next year to move the stuff from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh and would need “help”. Do you know (Again I’m probably jumping the gun here.) if this is planned?

The reason I ask is this year I was planning on doing some site seeing. Didn’t get around to it because of a foot problem thing that turned out to be less of a problem then I thought. :x\ Anyways I had the notion of flying into Philadelphia again on Tuesday to do some sight seeing, meet up and help load the trucks [insert day variable here], and maybe hitch a ride up to Pittsburgh.

Plan B being greyhound up to Pittsburgh. It was a thought that was kicking around the skull along with me kicking myself for not taking in the sights of Philadelphia while I was there. Grrr. :x\
Again I’m assuming its much too soon. But your post sort of triggered the idea again.

Actually, what we're looking at presently is the idea of waiting until October, 2005, getting a moving truck, and taking the stuff out there one Saturday. If we decide to do that, we'll make plenty of announcements to that effect.

Do you at least disasemble him and put him back inside his original packing crate? Or just set him up between the art Panels and old con books?

Actually, we place him horizontally on the floor and stack the TVs on top of him.

This keeps him from escaping before next year's AC.
