Weekend and stuff

gizaWally Wabbit came over to visit this weekend. He arrived late on Friday night and left early on Sunday, which left Saturday to do things, along with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
jomomma who joined us. We mostly hung out and watch movies, among them Roger and Me, and Jackass: The Movie. Roger and Me was a bit more of a true-to-life movie, documenting the decline of the town of Flint, Michigan, when General Motors moved their factories to Mexico.
Jackass, on the other hand, was a wildy insane and irrelavent movie. Well, not so much a movie, but rather 90 minutes of end-to-end stunts that were too crazy to be shown on TV. Some of the stunts were quite gross, I might add. I personally did not think it was worth the money, but folks with coarser tastes may like it.
On Sunday, I took a little time to make my very first Etherkiller, my new tool for the information age. Ph33r. :-) Later that evening, I got a desperate IM from my boss about one of the CGIs on our company's website not working properly. Turned out that a database table got corrupted, which caused some stuff to fail in rather interesting ways.
In other news, my foot has been feeling MUCH better since the injection I got last weekend, this is a good thing! I get another injection on Wednesday morning, then I'm off to Mid-west Fur Fest. Can I get a show of paws from who else is going? :-)
Finally, I saw this LJ entry about "Furry Love" fromroxikat. I thought it was a worthwhile read, and did think a lot of what he said was true.
