1. Who is your mobile phone provider, and how many minutes are in your plan?
Verizon Wireless, and I get 300 day minutes and something like 3000 night/weekend minutes. I don't talk on the phone all that much, so those minutes are more than enough for me.
2. What program do you primarily use for instant messaging?
I use GAIM on my Linux box at the office and Adium on my Mac at home. Both are free, both speak just about any chat protocol out there, and both do not have ads like the proprietary products do. I highly recommend using them.
I also use Trebuchet for MUCKing on FurryMUCK.
3. Who do you send and receive text messages from most?
If you count hanging out in a room on FurryMUCK, I'd have to say that I've chatted the most with
tailen.
triggur and
unclekage would be tied for second place, and
unciaa is on the bottom in third place.
4. What area code do you live in?
I live in Philly. How many area codes would you like to hear? :-)
5. What year did you first get an e-mail address and do you still use it?
Um, 1995, I think. I was briefly doug.muth@father.com through a local BBS, the now-defunct Father and Son Information Service. After a few months, I went and got a terminal account at the also now-defunct Oasis Telecommunications, where I was known as dmuth@ot.com for many years. I finally abandoned the address sometime in 2003 or so because of all the spam I was getting there. :-/
