How about in HTML? Yeah, maybe the big search firms want .doc, but it wouldn't hurt to make the information really easy to read without additional software.
Wow, was looking at your resume, and noticed that though you mention Anthrocon, did not give any hints as to what it was. Also certain hobbies are missing ;)
Always kinda wondered what a company would think if they saw the word "Furry" on a resume.
Hmm. Maybe it has you blacklisted for some reason, or no people link to you, or your robots.txt denies it indexing?
Also, are you using quote marks around those chunks?
It took around three or four months for the wikis I help maintain to work themselves out of the Google sandbox. If your site has just started, that might be another reason it's not showing up.
The first thing it reads (as well as the yahoo bot) according to the logs is the robots.txt file, but after that it proceeds to read always the same pages (kind of odd, because those pages link to others, yet it only visits those pages).
I've used quotes, it tends to return empty, if I don't use quotes it just gives other pages.
It's been there for ages, though it may have a different IP every time google visits it, but iot's always the same DNS name, and they always do visit it by DNS. ... it may still be the changing IP
It's OK though, I don't really need google indexing it, it just puzzles me

Thanks for the idea.

Anyway, just idle curiosities. :)

Date: 2005-12-06 03:30 am (UTC)That is why I never ever never ever use the word "furry" in a job interview. If they ask about Anthrocon, it's always "Anthropomorphics". :-)
