Anthrocon recovery
Jul. 16th, 2002 10:43 pmToday was my day for recovering from Anthrocon. I spent most of it doing very little "important" stuff. Instead, I took care of some errands like returning my foot X-Rays to the hospital.
On the way back, I noticed I was driving by a public library, so I circled around and pulled in. I spent a quiet couple of hours in there reading some books from the psychology section.
Got home, and saw that my 40 Megabyte download of the Java Developer Kit 1.4 over my dial-up had finally finished. So I spent a little while playing with Java. I was pretty impressed by the demos I saw. But what is it with the fetish of having capital letters in the middle of variable names? If I wanted capital letters in my nouns, I'd be speaking in German!
