I did a lot of decompression this past weekend. First, I spent some time rewriting the back end of my website in the PHP programming language. 2000 lines of code and counting... The changes aren't done yet, so nothing has been uploaded to www.claws-and-paws.com yet... I'll let ya'll know when that happens... I also saw the movie Dolphins on IMAX this weekend, along with Gangs of New York, which opened this weekend.

I got alcohol injection #6 at the pawdiatrist today. I mentioned to him that I wore dress shoes on Sunday with little pain, and the gel insert in my left foot (given by my previous pawdiatrist, Dr. S) was causing some pain. Dr. G looked at it and said, "hmm... this is positioned too far forward", then noted, "hey, this is for the wrong foot!". So he did what he could, playing a little Tetris with the gel pad and positioned it so that it's behind the ball of the foot, which means it hurts less to walk now. I am so glad I am not seeing Dr. S anymore.

I got a new "server" here at work today. I use quotes around that term, because it's a $200 machine that was bought from Walmart. Not a bad machine, but corners were cut. For example, the motherboard is very small, has everything integrated, and only 1 PCI port. The machine only has 128 Megs of RAM, too. Gotta fix that... [Ed. I aptly named the new server "chewtoy" :-)]

After I get out of work today, I'm heading up to Allentown to visit the parental units for Christmas, and coming back Thursday morning. I plan on spending most of tomorrow doing productive things, like eating and playing games on my old SNES. :-)
