This weekend was fun. Cray Fox and Taurin Fox stopped by and we hung out and watched movies for most of Saturday. I introduced Cray to Fight Club, and he and Taurin introduced me to Baseketball and The Game. They also got me hooked on a new Anime series called Naruto, showing me the first 10 episodes or so. I can't wait to see more!

Monday proved to be rather interesting at work. I learned the hard way that when the mailserver your machine is relaying through goes down, the mail() function in PHP just... stops working. It created quite a mess over the weekend with some orders that got messed up, and I found myself having to write a bugfix yesterday morning. Fun.

Some other random stuff I happened across over the last few days:

My Chat with Darl McBride - Darl is the CEO of the SCO group, the clowns who have been suing IBM (and threatening others) claiming ownership of some code in the Linux operating system. He recently spoke at Harvard and one of the students had the opportunity to chat with him during/after the presenation. He explains some of his positions in more detail, and also evades some of the questions, which hardly comes as a surprise.

Bobby Knight in Trouble Again - Something else that should hardly come as a surprise, Bobby Knight gets suspended for 5 days from his new job for having a verbal confrontation with with the university's chancellor.

Retarded Animal Babies 7 and Retarded Animal Babies 8 are out. They continue the tradition of some really disturbing flash cartoons.

Through way of [livejournal.com profile] spikedpunch's LJ, I found out about The Farewell Dossier. It talks about the Soviets wanting to acquire our technology during the Cold War, and our efforts to fake them out by fooling them with... bogus technology! Disinformation at its finest!

That's all for now, seeya!
