- The polls are open from 7 AM to 8 PM on Tuesday, November 2nd. If the polls close when you are standing in line, you still have the right to vote.
- If you have children, you may take them to the polls with you, and you may take one child in the voting booth with you.
- If you make a mistake on your ballot, you may ask for a new one.
- If you have moved since you registered to vote, you can vote in your old district, after filling out a form with your new address.
- If you are voting for the first time, all you need to bring to the polls is one of the following: a photo ID, a copy of a current utility bill, a bank statement, a government check, a pay check, or another government statement that shows your name and address. If you forget your ID, you can vote by "provisional" ballot.
- If your name is not on the voter rolls, but you are sure you are registered, you can vote with a "provisional" ballot.
- You can register and vote if you have been released from prison after being convicted of a felony. You can also vote by absentee ballot if you are currently in jail awaiting trial, or in jail for a misdemeanor.
- If you are disabled and your polling place is not accessible, you can vote at an accessible site designated by the county.
Get out and vote!
