The author asserts in the article that one big advantage of Wikis is that it is very easy to fix errors in them. Plus, there is total transparency; you can see who did what in terms of changes to an article and when these changes were made.
Also, for those of you who are old enough to remember the movie "Little Shop of Horrors", there was originally a very unhappy version of the ending of the movie. It's available here:
