I thought this was rather brilliant:



It's not unlike one of the talks I saw on 4chan and other online communities lately. Many people want to participate and not just passively consume, but are unable to do so. The rise of blogs, photo sharing communities, and meme generators makes it ridiculously easy for people to take that first step of creating their own content, instead of just consuming it.
