On the subject of Muslims, cartoons, and this whole Danish flag burning thing

My thoughts on this whole thing:

The strength of the reaction rather surprised me. Before reading the above post, I had wondered if folks with an agenda were inflaming the situation just to push a political agenda. Sadly, it seems that it is indeed the case.

In fact, the folks who started it all were Muslims that live in... Denmark! They moved to the country so they could escape oppression, then engaged in their very own form of oppression by trying to bully their own country's government into censoring an independent newspaper. Talk about being a bunch of complete and total hippocrates.

The sad thing about this is that it's not really going to help the image of Muslims. When I read the comments about threatening to kill Danish civilians over something that a random newspaper printed, I nearly fell off my chair. As Tailen stated, many of these people have not even seen the cartoons, but they are going all rabid over them.

I guess there is a lesson to be learned here: never blindly follow what your leaders tell you without verifying what they say is true. That's directed at Muslims AND Americans.

Taking from your second to last paragraph Giza..
When I was learning about riot control training. Most of us were surprised that large groups tend to gather and let their emotions take charge. People get caught up in things and have no idea what the hell is going on.

Also I personally delt with muslim fanatics (Al-Qaeda). The biggest thing they love to do is incite on peoples emotions. Weather it be by lies or any means neccacary. (EG: Put a grenade in a kids hat. Shove kid to a group of soldiers helping wounded civs..blow up...blame Americans..Scream Allah-u Ekber. Get more people incited..repeat..

Yep..How about this one?
Women has a large belly..pretends she is in the middle of labor..troops come in take her to medic...take her to medic..She blows up.
She was not pregnant..she was packed with C4.

Al-Qaeda and other gurella groups allways play on our biggest weakness. Helping the wounded.
