Today's trip to the ER
Feb. 16th, 2006 08:35 pmFirst, thanks to those who replied to my last post. All of the advice and suggestions were appreciated.
Today I made it into work and just felt... wrong. I was still having balance issues and I just couldn't concentrate on anything. After a bit, I called my doctor's office and they told me to go straight to the ER (do not pass go, do not collect $200).
I went and over several hours had some tests done, among them a CAT scan. The good news is that I'm not dying from anything. They ruled out issues such as cancer, encephalitis, and the like. Unfortunately, they did not come up with an actual diagnosis. So I got referred to an ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) specialist.
More information as I get it.
