Things I did over the last few days:
-
I bought 48 rolls of toilet paper tonight. Okay, so the stuff was on sale. The sheer amount of it should last me at least a couple of years. Or a month of eating at Taco Bell, I suppose.
-
I bought some stuff for my apartment over the weekend, such as a 1 quart sauce pan. Darn thing cost me $30! For a piece of metal with a handle and a lid!
-
I bought Metal Gear: Solid. Now all I need is a console to play it on. Guess I should go get a PS2 sometime. Eh, maybe I'll buy GTA3, first. :-)
-
Converted some more of my website's documents over to PHP. Still got quite a bit of it left, though.
-
I wrote a kick-ass HTML templating system for a CGI that I was working on this week. At least it kicks ass compared to the legacy system that my boss wrote. *twitch*

This is what happens when you hook up Eliza to an AIM client. Users talking with themselves...

I got sclerosing injection #10 from the pawdiatrist today. We discussed surgery, but it's not really an option because there's the chance that if the nerve is removed, it may try to regrow. That's called a "stump neuroma", and they are realy bad; supposedly the pain is worse than the original neuroma. Surgery would also keep me off my foot for at least a week. (I know some folks would not object to me being on my back, though!)
I was prescribed 4 weeks of physical therapy, however. The good thing here is that when I was sent before, the diagonosis was "bursitis". This time around, it's "neuroma", so there shouldn't be any problems as far as the insurance company is concerned. :-) I was also prescribed something called "Dexamethason Sodium Phosphate", which is some sort of anti-inflammatory drug that is supposed to be injected into my foot during the physical therapy. Fun. I can't wait. Are we going to put a rusty railroad spike through my foot next? Where do I sign up?
