It's only 750 pixels wide. What resolution are you browsing at?

1024x768 -- 12" iBook.

I think 640 is about as wide as should be put in LJ without a lj-cut. *shrug*

Looking back, I can see why 750 pixels is pushing it:

* The browser window doesn't take up the full screen -- you lose maybe 150-200 pixels there

* The default Friends page (which I use) has the icons in a column to the left, taking up maybe another 250-350 pixels.

* Add white space and scroll bars and such and you have a horizontal-scrolling irritation.

Your graphic wasn't WAY oversized, just a little.
