Who's going to DEXCON 9?
Jun. 30th, 2006 05:16 pmSo, who's going to DEXCON 9? It is being held in East Brunswick, New Jersey from July 12th to July 16th this year. Bill Hollbrook, the author of Kevin and Kell (and past Anthrocon Guest of Honor!) will be there. Among many other games, they will be holding a tabletop Kevin and Kell RPG, and the first ever Kevin and Kell LARP!
For furs who might want to attend, the staff were nice enough to offer us a discount. Enter the discount code "FURRB-10" to get $10 off full admission (Wednesday through Sunday) or "FURRB-5" to get $5 off of weekend admission (Friday night through Sunday).
See you there!

Date: 2006-07-01 12:59 am (UTC)However, I am perplexed about their discounts. When I registered I didn't know about the $10 discount for furs. This is the first I've heard about it. When I registered, I took the $5 discount offered for folks who read "Accidental Centaurs."
Funny, I'd have thought the bigger discounts would go to those folks who registered early. Cons need money *way* in advance of when the con occurs. Curious they're offering you a better discount this close to the con then when I registered earlier this month.
This should make for interesting conversation.

Date: 2006-07-01 01:17 am (UTC)However, my curiosity is aroused by all this. It's not so much I'm missing a discount, but why they didn't let John Lotshaw offer the $10 discount for folks who read "Accidental Centarus." He's had that offer up longer since the end of May, beginning if June, if memory serves me; longer than the Furry discount.
