Thats odd, you'd think if the guy with the gun was in the headlock, the one with the knife would of stabbed the 70 year old, or of gotton shot.

Who knew that Grandpa's episodes of thinking he was back in WWII would come in handy?

A better headline: U.S. seniors pwn Costa Rica attackers.

My money is that they were both on the bus and the group ganged up on them. Imagine trying to defend yourself on a bus load of people. Seniors or not it would be hard if you are surrounded.

So can we expect a Mortal Kombat: Senior Citizens edition soon? A fatality move for Liu Kang would be having his dentures fly out and bite the head off of his competitor. FAT....*coughs*...FATALI...*takes a breath from his oxygen bottle*...FATALITY!

> Mortal Kombat: Senior Citizens edition

I would pay money to see that.

I'd also pay money for any of the following:

Mortal Kombat: Goatse Edition (care to guess the fatality?)

Mortal Kombat: Lion King Edition (Scar's fatality is a stampede)

Mortal Kombat: Philadelphia Edition (homeless bums surround you and the stench makes you suffocate)

Reminds me of a news piece from a few years back. Guy tries to rob a market near Pittsburgh. So intent on the clerk he ignores the elderly man in line. Elderly man hauls back and decks the guy with a right cross, laying him out long enough for the clerk to hit the panic button and leap the counter to take care of the guy.

Elderly man is a retired professional boxer who still had at least one good punch left in him.

Similar thing happened to my grandfather.
A mugger was waiting for him and my grandmother to walk by behind a bush on a street near my house, he saw it and before the mugger could do anything he disarmed him (took his gun), and lectured him to learn how to rob people if he was going to do that.

It's also refreshing to see the police officials being sensible about not charging the tourists with excessive force, or detaining them for defending themselves.
