This is all kinds of awesome:

I'm assuming that the guy on the right is a real police officer.

More pics here.

Considering he's got a sidearm, I would assume so as well.

Hell, it wouldn't surprise me that they are both real police officers

No they aren't, sir. Police officers aren't gay. I'm told on good authority (my sister-in-law's husband's third cousin's brother is a policeman) that they weed those people out beforehand. You should be ashamed for even thinking our fine men in uniform could even do such a thing.

This is a fake picture, I'd wager, done with a computer. They can do that kind of thing nowadays. No such public displays would ever take place anywhere here in the blessed United States of America. If not, you might be mistaken as to it's location, as this is probably Greece or some other European country.

Anyway, I demand you take down this picture of the devil's soldiers right now. The internet is full of children who could see this kind of thing an it's a blight to God's eyes. Lord have mercy on your soul. "Awesome" doesn't begin to describe this disgusting image. Next thing you'll be telling me is that there are homosexuals in our military. Nonsense!

I don't know. If he is, I'm wondering why he was marching separately, instead of with the SFPD float. (Yes, SFPD has a float in the parade - we were behind them the one year I was in it.)

*sigh* to be able to do that in public would be nice. I hear AC is a fairly accepting atmosphere, so maybe I'll get a brief respite from the real world there...

Holding hands is fine.

Once it gets past the PG-rating is when we tell you to take it back to your hotel room. :-)

I just noticed after reading your post that nearly all the people in the crowd are all looking in the opposite direction...it could have been photoshopped...

LOL. How many times do you have to tell people to do that? :)

No, because everyone's facing the same direction as the photographer. The photographer obviously can face in any direction at any time, but probably was facing the same as everyone else for most of the time, because you're all looking for the next thing down the line.

Not very often.

In fact, the Dorsai like to comment about how well behaved our people are out of all the cons they've worked. They've also mentioned how furries are the only people who will show their conbadges when they are exiting a room.
