FUN WITH TOMATOES!

I took the guard for the garbage disposal off my kitchen sink earlier today so that I could clean it. Then, while it was off, I figured it would be SO much easier to cram 3 bad tomatoes down it.

As soon as I flicked the switch to turn it on, I suddenly learned WHY that guard is supposed to be there.

...as tomato chunks flew across my kitchen...

I had something like that happen to me once. I was putting things down the disposal at the old place where I used to live, and at some point before I got to it, part of the shield broke away, but I didn't notice. So when I turned it on, stuff started flying out of the disposal, and there waws this grinding noise from the chunk that was in it. Ehh, it can happen to anyone no?
