How to make your vacuum really suck!

I managed to melt my vacuum cleaner's belt awhile back. (long story)

I did some Googling for the model of my vacuum and found this site: BetterVac.com.

They pretty much have all the vacuum parts you'll ever need. In my case, I got a new belt for $2.40. They shipped it priority mail, and it arrived later in the week.

There's only thing here that fails to suck: their website. :-)

My parents had the same vacuum cleaner for about 10-15 years. The thing lasted so long that it ended up, at the end of its life, with a broom handle for a handle. o.O

After that, no vacuum has lasted us more than a few years. Seems to be the story of most of the appliances around here, actually.

They really don't make them like they used to.

I did the same thing and mine is a Kennmore.
