1. How much time do you spend online each day?
Lots. I work as a software engineer, so that's 8-9 hours a day right there. When I get home, I dial in to my ISP and I'm online for another 3-4 hours. So I figure about 12 hours each day. On weekends, I will often dial in in the morning and stay on throughout the day, even if I am not physically at the computer.
2. What is your browser homepage set to?
At work, it points to the company Intranet (which I also admin, heh). At home, it points to a local HTML file that contains links to sites I visit regularly, like my bank's website.
3. Do you use any instant messaging programs? If so, which one(s)?
I use GAIM at home and at work. As for as protocols go, how many would you like to hear? :-) I use AIM, ICQ, Jabber, and MSN. I also hang out on FurryMUCK regularly.
4. Where was your first webpage located?
http://www.ot.com/~dmuth/. Oasis has since stopped doing dial-up accounts, so I am no longer a customer of theirs and do not have the webspace anymore.
5. How long have you had your current website?
I've had my current site (claws-and-paws.com) since early 1999. I registered the domain in 1998 and finally got a webserver set up in early 1999, which I moved all of my webpages over to. I still remember when I showed the domain record to
unciaa, who asked me, "Is that what I think it is?" Priceless. :-)
