Weekend wrapup

My feet were feeling fine early on in the week, until I had another flareup on Wednesday afternoon. It peaked on Friday night, forcing me to lay down on the sofa and go horizontal for most of the evening. It was not fun. I visited classmate Derek and his girlfriend (whose wedding I am a Groomsman in come October) on Saturday afternoon/evening, and we got to hang out, I showed him The Triplets of Belleville, and he showed me Chronicles of Riddick. It was a relatively average action movie, and not nearly as good as Pitch Black.

As of this (Sunday) evening, the pain in my foot has calmed down a bit. We'll see if I'm feeling any better tomorrow. Since I didn't hear from the pawdiatrist last week, I'll call tomorrow and see if my orthotics have come in yet.

I got some more bad news early last week. It's distressing enough that I've had a few nightmares over it and has had me feeling generally miserable and agitated. Unfortunately, I can't talk about it yet, because it hasn't yet been resolved. I hope to be able to get it sorted out soon.
