What a calm weekend this was, relatively speaking, that is. It was my first weekend in 1.5 months where I wasn't doing Anthrocon stuff or visiting someone.
Saturday morning, I had another physical therapy appointment. I got the usual ultrasound heat treatment, along with some time on the weights for my calf muscles. Then I was put on a computer-aided machine that worked the ankle back and forth and measured how much resistance I was able to create. Neat stuff. My therapist also explained to me that since I've been walking on the cane for so long, the other muscles in my foot are rather pissed off, which could explain some of the additional pain that I've been having.
After I was done with that, my kid sister (not a fur) visited, and I proceeded to show her some Ken Sample art, and she did NOT freak out. Must be something in the genes, hehe. We headed up to King of Prussia Mall and took care of some errands. My foot was feeling better so I was able to limp around the mall fairly well.
Got back to my place, saw my sister off, and started taking care of lots of paperwork. Mostly paying bills and filing things, as well as taking care of some obligations online. I can actually SEE the surface of my desk and coffee table for the first time in months.
I spent most of today doing not much of anything, and boy did it feel good. I watched one of the videos I rented, Gundam Wing episodes 1 through 4. And I think it's time to go watch the other video I rented, "Blade Runner"! :-)
