Only 10 minutes left today, time for my Friday Five!

What was...

1. ...your first grade teacher's name?

Mrs. Nicholas. She taught 1st Grade classes at Lower Macungie Elementary School. This must have been back in 1983 or so. I don't remember much about her, other than that I don't think she pissed me off. :-)

2. ...your favorite Saturday morning cartoon?

I'd have to say the early 90's X-Men series was my favorite. It was pure science fiction come to the TV.

3. ...the name of your very first best friend?

I believe that would have been Matthew Chef, who lived 5 houses down the street from me. He moved down to Florida around when I was in 3rd grade or so, and I don't think I ever made contact with him again. Bummer.

4. ...your favorite breakfast cereal?

I prefer ciniman raisin oatmeal, actually. Tastes good AND gives me chemical weapons for the rest of the day!

5. ...your favorite thing to do after school?

When I was a kid, it was watching TV. I had quite the TV habit when I was younger, which I supposed fostered my imagination, but I think I could have found better hobbies... hobbies which would have taught me social skills. :-) When I got into high school, I watched a less lot TV and started using my computer more often to call local BBSes. This was a much better use of my time, as I could actually engage in intelligent discussions with other people and download heterosexual pr0n shareware utilities and games. Ah, I remember how on Friday nights I would dial long distance into Exec PC BBS to download files at 14.4 kbps. Those were the days!
