My weekend was pretty good. I went down to Maryland to visit Chris and his wife Katie. We hung out, played video games and watched some movies. I showed them Riding Bean, and they introduced me to Cannibal: The Musical, a fairly disturbing musical from the creators of South Park. We also played a game for the Game Cube called "Monkey Ball". It was a fairly fun and creative game, but it had a hard time holding my interest, for some reason. Maybe because it was all about multiplayer games, and didn't have much for a single player, I dunno. I also showed them the puppetry videos from [livejournal.com profile] nonsanity, and they rather liked them.

Sunday saw me doing more Anthrocon stuff and catching up on some other paperwork. Nothing new there.

Monday morning I came into work and learned that our company was featured on ABC Primetime(!) over the weekend. What was neat was that not only was there a brief picture of me in there, but there was also a picture of me from the segment I did in 2002 with them. Apparently I've made it into their archive footage about spam, which is kinda neat. :-) Anyone interested in an MPEG of the segment should contact me via e-mail.

That's all for now, folks!

Heh, it's nice to see another person has been shown the brilliance that is Cannibal: The Musical.

[livejournal.com profile] chebutykin introduced me to "Cannibal!" over the 2003->2004 New Year.

It was brilliant, it was disturbing, it was funny. It hurt my brain in ways I didn't think possible. I strongly recommend getting a copy and inflicting it on as many people as you can. Pain like that deserves to be shared.

When it comes to inflicting mental pain on people, I think Meet the Feebles (http://www.ween.net/feebles/) hurts more. But that's just me. :-)

I always knew there was something not quite right about you.

Hasn't that movie been banned by international weapons treaty yet?

Who knows? Maybe I'll end up being on the Board of Directors of a major furry con (http://www.anthrocon.org/).

Oh. Wait.

Crap.
