giza | Random weekend stuff

Random stuff that went on over the weekend:

I finally got to meet skippyfox in person. We were idly chatting on Saturday evening, I realized I didn't have any plans that night, and invited him over. We watched some Anime Music Videos and watched an Icelandic film called The Sea. From this film, I have concluded that people living in Iceland are foul-tempered, profane, and drink lots of cognac. :-)
I scored at the video store while looking through their used DVDs. I found Unbreakable and The Shawshank Redemption on sale, and both are movies that I wanted to add to my collection for quite some time now.
My left foot acted up a little this weekend. It wasn't the nerve, but rather the muscles. With the good weather, I've been walking around tonw a lot lately, and from not using that foot as much (thanks to the nerve injury), I think I managed to pull a few muscles. It hurt really bad on Sunday morning, but I applied heat several times throughout the day (20 minutes of heat per hour), took some advil, and the muscles responded pretty well. I felt much better by the evening.
I went up to Allentown on Sunday afternoon to visit the family and also got to meet Tseno Wolf, who is relatively new to furry. We went to Mayfair, walked around for a bit, chatted a bit, and ate some food there. Somewhere in there I showed him a few AMVs and related a few stories about past Anthrocons.
I spent 3 hours at the gym on Monday. Gosh, it sure is nice to have paid holidays at this new job. :-)
Evil Plan #6 is on track, with completion scheduled before this year's Anthrocon. And there was much rejoicing.
