Voting Day
Nov. 2nd, 2004 10:51 amSo, I voted today.
I dropped by the polling place around 9 AM and there was no line. I was told that I came at just the right time, because there were big lines earlier in the morning. After voting, I came into work and listened to KYW 1060 on the way in. There was record turnout at lots of places, and lots of volunteers all over to make sure that no voters were turned away or otherwise intimidated.
I voted on an electronic machine. It wasn't from Diebold, but still.... ewww. I have real issues with those machines when there is no paper trail. I can't even think about how a recount is going to be done if the loser requests one. Oh well, it'll make for an interesting couple of weeks.
I'll make an LJ entry tlaking about my Birthday soon.
