Attention High School students!

If you are in High School, you need to read this. It's an article from Paul Graham titled, "What You'll Wish You'd Known". It contains practical advice for people your age who are trying to figure out what they'd like to do with their lives.

I remember how when I finished high school, I was all hot to trot as a sysadmin and wanted to research computer viruses on the side. 8 years later, I'm a programmer and don't have to deal with viruses when using my OS of choice. Oh well. :-)

Very nice, although I had difficulty following the Beckenbauer allusion.  The Kaiser's Wikipedia article doesn't say anything about his rewriting of the rules of soccer.  His Planet Word Cup bio just says "achieved legendary status in the game operating as an attacking defensive player", which makes him sound like an oxymoron.
