Why did the fox cross the road?
May. 20th, 2005 06:58 pmI don't know why a fox would do such a thing, but I really didn't have a chance to think about it on the way home tonight. While driving down a back road, a wild gray fox darted out right in front of me and ran across the road. At first I thought it was a rabbit, but after watching it move and seeing its tail, I quickly realized what it was.
After it crossed, I drove ahead and stopped the car so I could get a better look. But all I saw was it running deeper into the woods.
First time I ever saw a fox in the wild, too. Made for a nice end to the week.
