enter.net really sucks
May. 24th, 2005 05:58 pmOn one of the anti-spam lists I'm on, a colleague of mine was getting lots of bounces from enter.net in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Not having sent the e-mails that triggered the bounces, he figured he was getting backscatter from poorly written anti-virus software, and inquired about enter.net on the list. So I finally had the opportunity to get THIS out of my system:
I've also got horror stories from techs who used to work there. Those are available on request. :-)
No, but I'm not surprised. When I lived in up in Allentown, I knew
folks who worked for and did business with enter.net. All I heard
were complaints about unprofessional and rude behavior on the part of
the owners. (One of the owners went so far as to try and get a former
boss of mine fired when he canceled his company's contract with them
because of the affore-mentioned rude behavior)
Word also is that their rating with the Better Business Bureau leaves
much to be desired.
Draw your own conclusions about their level of clue.
