It is finally time for Anthrocon, and I will be leaving for it tomorrow. It'll be nice to see old friends again, and purrhaps meet some other folks who I only know online or through LJ.

Just a gentle reminder to folks, since I'm such an old man, I'm pretty bad about matching names up with faces. If you come up to me and I look confused, it wouldn't hurt to wave a conbadge in front of my face to help jog my memory.

EVERY YEAR THE SAME with that old guy :)
when i meet him he doesnt know who iam (or pretends to) ;)

I actually expected you not to recognize me since it has been quite a while, but if you glanced down at my badge(s) your eyes moved quite swiftly and I did not notice. :P

I am learning not to be so embarrassed when it comes to recognizing RL faces at conventions. Everybody does it--just follow a fur's gaze when you say hello--and this year I even started reciting my badge name so people didn't have to squint for five seconds and then go "OH!" (Although, occasionally, they were just reading the caption on my shirt. :P)
