This is the sofa itself. It is a sectional. The right two thirds is one section, and the left third is another. The reason I went for a sectional was that I tried getting a bigger sofa in the past, and that didn't fit into the apartment. :-/

When getting the sofa in the main doors of the apartment building, the two guys needed to prop the doors open.

Here's a closeup of the trick they used. After they left, I examined the door hinge, and saw other marks in the wood, probably from this being used in previous deliveries to the building.

[Edit: Just to clarify, this is my first sofa. Which is why it's such a big thing for me. :-)]

So does that mean they forgot the quarter?

It looks like my sofa, only sectional, meaning it's probably a bit wider.

I haven't seen the quarter trick used before. I tend to just use any convenient stick or small rock from outside for the same purpose.

And I was the very first friend to get drunk and pass out on that sofa, right where the stuffie leopard is.

And Giza, you may feel free to take the price tags off your sofa! You don't need any Minnie Pearl furniture.

Due to budget cutbacks, breakfast has been outsourced to the nearby IHOP.

Complimentary drinks are still served in the evenings, however.

It's not how big your sofa is, it's how well you USE it.

I passed out on mine twice over the weekend, so there. :-P

Tsk tsk tsk... the small ones always say that, but coming from a size queen, the boat makes just as much difference :-) I, for once, got to actually use mine over the weekend for the first time in forever. Parked my azz on the sofa yesterday morning and didn't move till 11:00 last night :-) It felt odd not having to do laundry or dishes or demolish or recontruct or god knows what else on my house...
