Went to a gathering of Pennsylvania furs today, know affectionately as "Mall Con". There was a turnout of about 15, and we split up into smaller groups and bummed around the mall. I hung out with SkyTech and we visited a few stores. The comic book store was pretty cool, I managed to snag Robotech Issue #0 and Thundercats #1-4. Later in the afternoon we went to the Elmwood Park Zoo and watched the cougars wrestle with each other. :-)

In other news, Skip Ruddertail got a Live Journal. His username is skiprudder. Go and harass^H^H^H^H^H^Hwelcome him. :-)

Finally, I am thinking of shaving my head. Right now, I buzz cut my hair every 2-3 weeks, and I think that shaving it would allow more time between having to shave it. There is an interesting site full of FAQs and articles at headshaver.org.

Reasons not to shave your head:

1. Looks different.
2. Just as much, if not more, work to maintain the look.
3. Doesn't reduce shaving frequency unless you don't mind looking scruffy. Hair just doesn't grow symmetrically.
4. (Just in case the above is insufficient.) I don't like the look of a shaved head. }:>

Well, there were a whole bunch of furs that I didn't know who were there. :-)

The ones that I did know were Kagemushi, jomomma, Keith Miller (can't remember his nick offhand), snowkitty, errorist (Carmine), Yips for fun, and a few others whose names I cannot remember.
