It's amazing what you can find when Googling for your own last name. Check this out:

To summarize, someone overheard a mayor say something, and they repeated it to someone else. This got back to a person who had a dispute with the mayor. This individual then ran promptly to the police and proceeded to make a big deal over this "threat" that came via third-hand information.

Hmm... jumping to conclusions or something and kicking up a big fuss over that. Do we know anyone like that? :-)
