Pictures from Belgium are up
Dec. 31st, 2005 05:30 pmI've been meaning to convert my site over to Drupal for awhile. So what better way to start than to familliarize myself with Drupal's acidfree image gallery module and use it to import my pictures that I took while in Belgium.
Here's the link: http://claws2.nfshost.com/pictures/belgium
Note the temporary domain name for now. When I migrate all of the content from my current Mambo-ized website, I'll rename that temporary hostname.
Feel free to register for an account on the new site, bang on it, and leave comments. Since I'll be serving my site up with Drupal, I'd like to get some feedback on it NOW. :-)

Date: 2005-12-31 04:42 pm (UTC)I can't look at the pictures now, since I'm on a low bandwidth cel connection.. but Drupal rocks. I've been running it for a while on zorin.org.
Have fun with it; I love how you can customize it to do pretty much anything. Really cool software...

Date: 2005-12-31 05:28 pm (UTC)I visited Belgium in 1999 and I was in this GORGEOUS small city (town?), but I only know the name in Spanish, it's called "·Brujas" which would translate to witches, but it's most likely just a variation and not a translation of its original name.
It's a small, very romantic place, where BTW, they shot the INXS "Never tear us apart" music video
Would you happen to know the name? I know just because you were there it doesnt make you an expert, but... well, I don't know anyone from Belgium, and every time I talk about that gorgeous place I visited I fail to say where it was =P
Oh! That reminds me, also in that town there was a church with a public, open (as in with no walls or roofs) urinal on the side of a church. I used it even though I didnt have to go, just because now I can say "I've peed on the wall of a church" =P
