Apple is coming to town!
Jan. 10th, 2006 03:03 pmI've just learned that they are putting an Apple Store in Suburban Square. Grand opening is March or April of 2006.
And this is less than 5 minutes walk from my house.
I think I just found a new place to hang out.

Second, the hacker crowd has already figured out how to run OS/X on non-Apple hardware. This means better penetration of OS/X. If someone wants to give it a try and has some technical skills (like say, most Linux people out there), they can make that happen now. This can only be good for Apple's market penetration.
