Weekend, and another TV appearance!
May. 4th, 2004 10:43 amMy weekend was pretty good. I went down to Maryland to visit Chris and his wife Katie. We hung out, played video games and watched some movies. I showed them Riding Bean, and they introduced me to Cannibal: The Musical, a fairly disturbing musical from the creators of South Park. We also played a game for the Game Cube called "Monkey Ball". It was a fairly fun and creative game, but it had a hard time holding my interest, for some reason. Maybe because it was all about multiplayer games, and didn't have much for a single player, I dunno. I also showed them the puppetry videos from
nonsanity, and they rather liked them.
Sunday saw me doing more Anthrocon stuff and catching up on some other paperwork. Nothing new there.
Monday morning I came into work and learned that our company was featured on ABC Primetime(!) over the weekend. What was neat was that not only was there a brief picture of me in there, but there was also a picture of me from the segment I did in 2002 with them. Apparently I've made it into their archive footage about spam, which is kinda neat. :-) Anyone interested in an MPEG of the segment should contact me via e-mail.
That's all for now, folks!
