Email announcement list

Hi folks,

Since there were a significant number of people who expressed interest at last year's closing ceremonies in having an email announcement list, I set one up. It can be found on the web at:

Signing up is as simple as entering your email address in the box to the left. This list will be used for major announcements sent out on an infrequent basis.

It's interesting that the vote was unanimous, due in part to two commissioners abstaining from the vote. What's the matter, boys? Did you maybe... promise something to someone behind closed doors that ain't gonna happen now?
