You know you're getting old when you LIKE getting clothes for Christmas

Christmas went okay for me this year. I visited the relatives on the eve for dinner. When we went around the table towards the end doing our Christmas wishes, I said, "Two grams of plutonium for all men, and to all men, the long night". After some stunned silence, my younger cousin who was next said, "Holy Shit, how am I going to top that!?". Fun. :-)

I got a few articles of clothing as presents this year, and some stuff for my apartment, namely pillows for a couch which I do not yet own. I also got to see the movie Full Metal Jacket for the first time. Great movie.

And it snowed, too. Allentown got like 6 inches on Christmas day,
and I got to shovel my car out this morning and drive back to Philly. And I'm safely back in Philly now.
