Google Talk in Gmail!
Feb. 11th, 2006 02:14 pmSince Google has rolled out the ability to use Google Talk from within Gmail, I've been doing just that. I find it useful because it lets me hang out in Google Talk during the day at work, without having to have a seperate chat client open.
If you don't yet have a Gmail account or have a Gmail account but don't have Google Talk activated in it, please let me know and I'll send you an invite.
If you're having problems getting Google Talk to work in Gmail, try this link:

Happy chatting! (My username on Gmail is doug.muth, BTW)

I sent you a message to your Jabber yesterday (and I see you're online right now too), but it probably didn't make it.

Date: 2006-02-11 08:32 pm (UTC)I usually don't respond to messages that come from unknown screennames these days, due to security/spam/social engineering reasons. Sorry about the confusion!

Date: 2006-02-11 08:37 pm (UTC)Yeah, people in LJ seem to only know me as Furahi, not Zuri or even Aristide anymore =P
I understand, I get an average of 30 or 40 messages /authorization requests from random ICQ users every day. Thanks to my short number (142785) -_-
