Whee, snow!

We got about a foot of snow here last night. That was fun! What's going to be even more fun is not having to dig out my car tomorrow. I'll just take the train in to work.

What's not fun has been having the hot water go off twice in 24 hours. For reasons unknown, cold water would come out the hot water tap. I can only guess that it's somehow related to all of the snow. I kinda feel sorry for the landlord, because they'll have to send people out twice to deal with this.

Since my bandwidth usage has gone up due to me putting more pictures on the website, I figured it wouldn't hurt to put up a donation page. Sounds like you have a tank-less hot water system. Gotta love the companies that push these, saying they're sooo efficient... But when the power goes out, your hot shower becomes freezing cold. Instantly.

Hopefully they get that fixed. It's annoying! Could be a loose connection...

Honestly, I miss the snow sometimes. But then, I got lucky in that where I was in NY, the snow though plentiful, seldom took out our power or other utilities. One nice thing about living where it almost always snows in winter. everyone is prepaired for it, and just waiting for it to happen, so even when things do go bad, it's fixed very quickly.
Not bad for a little rual town in western NY.
