gizaI saw my ENT this morning and he looked at the results of my CAT scan from last week. The cyst that showed up on my MRI? It's gone. Dr. S explained to me that it cysts can be temporary things, and this one was probably just some mucous that had built up in that sinus cavity.
As for the ringing in my right ear, that's gone down a bit and seems to be "coming and going". Dr. S told me that at this point in time, everything is physically okay with my ears and sinuses and that medical science has no explanation as to what's causing it. He said it could be a minor viral infection that caused one or more nerves to be inflamed. Most importantly, I'm not dying.
I'll probably see Dr. K next week for a followup, and see if there's anything else that can be done.
