So, I spent most of this weekend sick. It started yesterday with a BIG headache and a sore throat, and a fever eventually came on. Slept most of last evening and most of today, and have been fighting back with Ibuprofen and NyQuil.
Somewhere in there I watched the 1997 remake of 12 Angry Men. From what I remember of the original, the remake kept pretty true to it. Some things were updated, such as the number of non-white people on the jury, and the guy who was racist wasn't exactly white, either.
I also watched The Power of One, which was an intense, if slightly depressing movie about the life of a boy who fought against Apartheid in South Africa. The main reason I watched it is so that I could hear some more music from Hans Zimmer and Lebo M, both of whom composed most of the music of The Lion King. :-)
I've been at the computer for a few hours now, and getting kinda tired. I think I'm going to go to bed in a bit. I see a visit to the doctor in my future.
