Faster than me. I never noticed any of the Holmes/House references. And I love watching House.
It's funny because I'm used to seeing Hugh Laurie in comedy roles in his real accent.

We LOVE House and the Holmesian references abound.

Should point out that Holmes and Watson never co-habitated. Watson always had his own place and is married, though it was troubled at times (seeing more parallels yet?)

Actually Holmes and Watson met when Holmes was looking for someone to split the rent on the 221B Baker St. appartment. Watson, who's first name is James or John, depending on how forgeful Conan Doyle was, was married several times, and usually ended up moving back in with Holmes between wives.
Though in a neat twist...it was Watson who had a weak leg.
Holmes was also, if I recall, studying either chemistry or Medicine, but gave it up.
House has blue eyes. Specifically they're Opium Blue.
