- I've been having more "stress dreams" about this year's Anthrocon. 3 or 4 since the beginning of the month. They usually consist of things going horribly wrong. Such as running into a blizzard on the way to Pittsburgh.

- I caved and got a MySpace account, since it seems to be the "in" thing among my old classmates from high school: http://www.myspace.com/douglasmuth

- Also, nonsanity pointed out today that as of Monday the 29th, free accounts will no longer get a weekly allowance of their virtual money. So if you want to sign up for an account there, NOW is the time to do it. You don't even need a credit card, they can just send an SMS message to your cellphone to verify your identity. Then just log on to the account for 5 minutes per week to get the alloance.

I can be found on SL as "Giza Sonic", though I don't think I'll be using it much before Anthrocon.

You have to wonder though how interesting things would get if the snow fell -during- the con. ;) What would happen with so many furs trapped in a hotel like that? X)

Eh, as for second life, I'm wondering if removing the allowance is an attempt to control inflation, or stopping people from using a bajillion acounts for free monies. Dunno.

*plays like never, comp won't run it*... Eh, every time I looked at their linden exchanges, the value had been dropping for ages. Wanted them to fix that before I got involved, lol.

Ahh, Second Life. I've got a (mostly-neglected) plot on the southwestern corner of Tiger Creek. Look for the smoking volcano, you can't miss it. ;-p

Considering the heatwave currently baking southern Ontario, a nice blizzard on the drive down to Pittsburgh would be pleasant, Giza. ;]

(For the record, I have yet to have my usual stress dreams of anthropomorphised tornados, so I'm thinking things are all frosty and shiny for Anthro, knock-on-wood.)
