Let's make fun of Apple today
May. 31st, 2006 01:01 pmApple's glass elevator in their NYC "flagship" store locked in a group of customers the other day. The NYPD eventually had to free them.
I ask those that are reading this to file a bug report via Apple's Bug Reporter so that they are aware of the problem. ;-)

Date: 2006-05-31 05:10 pm (UTC)Additional Symptoms: Customers trapped inside.
Solution: Restart the copy of Windows XP on the computer that controls the elevator.
Workaround: Smash glass doors. Talk trash about Microsoft software.

Date: 2006-06-01 05:10 am (UTC)Judging by what people said sounds like a door lock fault.. hardly worth calling the LAPD for, why didnt they just call the elevator service, chances are it ewas still under free maintanance
I doubt the elevator could run winblows XP.. most elevator controlers are based on the Zilog Z80 CPU, you know then one from ZX spectrums :P
