Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] drzarron who in turn stole it from [livejournal.com profile] scs_11...

Bop back in time in 10 year leaps. What was happening in your life that year?

10 years ago: I was just starting business school. I lived with the parental units and worked as a dishwasher at a local country club on evenings and weekends. I wanted to research computer viruses for a living. I was a fanboy of Vesselin Bontchev.

20 years ago: School had just let out for the summer and I was getting ready to go into 4th grade, I think. I watched several hours of TV each day, including things like Thundercats, Transformers and MASK. I also rode my bike a lot and tried to avoid getting picked on by the other kids.

30 years ago: I was busy trying to claw my way out of my Mother's uterus. She was eating lots of seafood at the time, presumably too quiet me down.

40 years ago: I think my father had just joined the Air Force or was about to join.

10 years ago school had just let out for the Summer. I had just finished my first year in La Salle (the site appears to be down), which was my 2nd year of high school, or my 11th grade total.
I was happy.
I had just started connecting to the Internet months before, and I was about to sign my first contract with an ISP to have Internet at home. I had a 28.8kbps modem
I was more obsessed with Rocko, from Rocko's modern life, than with TLK; that didn't last long.

20 years ago... I had just finished 1st grade. I used to watch cartoons like Thundercats, Remi, Bell(e?) & Bebastian, Gigi.
The bullying had gotten a lot worse in school that year, but I was still happy because things at home were great.
We were about to make our second trip to Florida, mostly to Disneyworld.

10 years ago I was practicing to become a professional geek at ACE (American Computer Experience) computer camp on the Bryn Mawr College campus. My self-taught knowledge of QBASIC (wooooow) got me placed ahead into the C track. I complete ignored the C track and continued programming games in QBASIC, where I actually could draw stuff on the screen without having to learn DX. ;) In the lab some kids brought in their computers from home, making this my first LAN Party experience as well. :P I discovered one kid had the full registered copy of Doom, and I played away. I believe that was the first time I actually got to experience Doom 1 episodes 2 and 3 hands on.

20 years ago I was almost 22 months old, which means I had already covered about one twelfth of my entire life. I was probably over my chicken pox by then, which had left a neat scar in the middle of my forehead.

10 years back, I was busy figuring out that boys and girls are not the same. I was just leaving elementary school, and entering the 'joy' of middle school.

(Middle School, by the way, sucked ass.)

20 years back, I was fighting my way up a fallopian tube... but that's a story that I don't like to think about.

30 years back, some stuff happened.
